You Can Help • Masonic Events
On Sunday, January 24th, 2010, Mozart Lodge has been asked to help carry on a decades old tradition of assisting those of our brethren and their families who need help getting to chapel at the Masonic HOME. This is that example of charity that extends beyond the grave and cannot be bought. Either be at the HOME by 9, or have breakfast on the WM at 7:45 at Amy‟s Omelette House (Rt 130 South & High Street in Burlington).

138th Annual Communication and Banquet of Mozart Lodge #121 F&AM. • Gavel Club, Masonic Events 1 reply
A Rib Roast Dinner will be at 6:00, and the Open Installation of Officers will be beginning at 7:30. Dinner Donation will be $20.00 , there will be no cost for children under the age of 15. An RSVP is required. You may pay at the door, or send a check to Bro. Todd Mertz at 609-519-8250, or tsmertz@verizon.net.
Since we as Masons are always trying to do a little good, we will be collecting coats, blankets, hats, gloves, individually wrapped toothbrushes and small toothpastes. These will be distributed DIRECTLY to the homeless in the region. The organizer tells me “We go every Sat morning and get there at 11am. It’s amazing because the people line up as they see the van coming. It’s not in a shelter; these are people who have no shelter at all.”

Food Drive:Reminder • Masonic Events
Brethren,
A reminder that Mozart Lodge has also begun a partnership with Hope UMC in Voorhees NJ in collecting non-perishable food items as well as paper products to assist Hope in their ongoing food bank.
This initiative’s intention is for Mozart to collect year round. The feeling being the people who require this assistance need it all year long and not just during the holidays. So when you go do your regular food shopping, simply pick up an extra can or box and bring it with you to Lodge. IN addition, the food bank also accepts gift cards. If you want to purchase one, simply forward it to me and I will put it in with the rest of our collection.
