Requst for Help from the History CommitteeGavel Club

Brethren,
I’ve been asked by our Worshipful Master to work on a comprehensive project about the history of Mozart Lodge #121. I would like to gather up as much information as possible to make this project a successful one. I need your help in doing so! If you have any information…pictures, news articles, materials, or just basic knowledge about our lodge; I would love to hear from you.

Please contact me via phone or email. My phone number is 856-261-2369 & email address is kwj0329@aol.com.

Thank You,
Keith Josepayt
Mozart Historian & JMC

138th Annual Communication and Banquet of Mozart Lodge #121 F&AM.Gavel Club, Masonic Events 1 reply

A Rib Roast Dinner will be at 6:00, and the Open Installation of Officers will be beginning at 7:30. Dinner Donation will be $20.00 , there will be no cost for children under the age of 15. An RSVP is required. You may pay at the door, or send a check to Bro. Todd Mertz at 609-519-8250, or tsmertz@verizon.net.

Since we as Masons are always trying to do a little good, we will be collecting coats, blankets, hats, gloves, individually wrapped toothbrushes and small toothpastes. These will be distributed DIRECTLY to the homeless in the region. The organizer tells me “We go every Sat morning and get there at 11am. It’s amazing because the people line up as they see the van coming. It’s not in a shelter; these are people who have no shelter at all.”

News from YOUR Gavel ClubGavel Club

The Gavel club will meet Tuesday, April 24th, 7:30PM at W.J.M.C.

On the opposite page you will find a poem which was posted on the internet. I thought it would be great for the Trestle Board because, in many ways we can apply it to our lodge. We are all different in our own ways, but we are all united in the fact that we are brethren in the greatest fraternity in the world. Some of us like ritual, some of us like fellowship, some of us like just getting out of the house every first and third Tuesdays. Whatever the case may be, the Gavel Club may be for you, we have an informal roundtable discussion each month.

For the newly raised brethren, the Gavel Club is many thing to Mozart Lodge. Including but not limited to, the fund raising arm, Charity Drives, Scholarship Drives, at times the “Events Committee”, and generally “D. All of the Above”.

This month’s meeting will include old and new business with a focus on the Fishing Trip. I would also like to have some of our mentor’s or white apron brethren come out to assist some of the newly raised brethren with any questions they may have. If you are planning on attending and eating, please notify me.

Mike Ohr Jr. Gavel Club President
